A man turned to Reddit to share how he plotted revenge on his wife.
The father of two had previously published a story on Reddit about how his wife let out a rabbit in the yard after he encouraged her to release it in the bushes.
It turned out that a hawk came and grabbed the bunny directly in front of their two young children, aged four and five. The incident terrified the children and harmed their bond with their mother.
The Redditor said that the children referred to his wife as a “Bunny Killer.” Eventually, the husband admitted to his wife that he had published a Reddit post about her, which had made her angry. However, she eventually admitted that she was incorrect and should have listened to her husband.
According to the Original Poster (OP), he tried to teach the youngsters to be friendlier to their mother by giving them tiny punishments for calling her the dreadful term. However, it resurrected every time they became upset with her.
After apologizing, OP suggested marriage counseling, but his wife insisted nothing was wrong. Since they were getting along, he decided not to push it.
However, their marriage soon deteriorated. OP’s eldest child confided that her mother had been hiding something—there was a man visiting the house while OP was working weekends. The mother referred to him as a “special friend” and bribed the children to stay silent. OP noticed his wife acting unusually—more irritable, insulting him, and locking herself in the bedroom, crying loudly.
Suspicious, OP installed cameras around the house. Within a week, he discovered his wife’s affair with a younger former colleague. His sister and brother-in-law confirmed his suspicions when they saw the man rubbing his wife’s belly.
OP secretly planned his revenge. He lied about a business trip, leaving his wife alone with her affair partner. Weeks later, OP served her divorce papers, and the truth came out. He gained full custody and their home.
