Dealing with ants in your home can be frustrating. These tiny invaders appear out of nowhere, marching across countertops, floors, and into your pantry. Over the years, I’ve tried many methods to get rid of them—chemical sprays, baits, and even DIY remedies—but most were temporary or ineffective.
That was until my aunt shared a simple trick that wiped out an entire ant colony in just three minutes. This method uses borax and sugar to create a potent but safe ant killer. Borax disrupts ants’ digestive systems, while sugar attracts them. The ants take the bait back to their colony, and within hours, the entire colony is eradicated, including the queen, ensuring they don’t return.
To make the solution, mix one part borax with three parts sugar, add water to create a syrupy consistency, and place the bait in areas with ant activity. The ants will carry the poison back to their colony. This method is non-toxic to humans and pets, offering a safer alternative to harsh chemicals.
