Zoraya ter Beek, a 28-year-old woman from the Netherlands, has decided to undergo euthanasia next month, even though she is physically healthy. Her choice has sparked worldwide discussions about the ethics and implications of euthanasia, a topic that remains highly debated.
In the Netherlands, where euthanasia is legal, ter Beek qualifies under the law due to her severe depression, autism, and borderline personality disorder, which she considers unbearable.
