Meghan Markle Shares Labor Dance Throwback for Princess Lilibet’s Fourth Birthday
To celebrate Princess Lilibet’s fourth birthday on June 4, Meghan Markle shared a throwback video of a lighthearted moment before her birth. In a black dress, Meghan danced in a hospital room to the viral song “The Baby Momma Dance” while cradling her baby bump. Seconds later, Prince Harry joined in, both shaking their hips and laughing together.
“Four years ago today, this also happened,” Meghan, 43, wrote on Instagram. “Both of our children were a week past their due dates… so when spicy food, all that walking, and acupuncture didn’t work – there was only one thing left to do!”
While the clip was joyful, Harry revealed more emotional details about Lilibet’s birth in his 2023 memoir Spare, describing how he helped deliver her and worried briefly when she appeared blue. “Now!” the doctor urged, and Harry gently pulled their daughter into the world.
Meghan also celebrated Harry and Lilibet’s bond, sharing two heartfelt photos: one of Harry holding newborn Lilibet and another of them walking barefoot, hand in hand. “Daddy’s little girl and favorite adventurer,” Meghan captioned.
