A mom of three has died after she and her children were involved in a crash on a Florida highway on Memorial Day.
Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) said a tire blew out on an Ford F-350 along Interstate 95 in Melbourne, on Monday, May 26, according to NBC affiliate WESH and FOX affiliate WOFL.
58-year-old man lost control of his truck, crashing into Olivia Maggs’ Honda Odyssey. Olivia, 32, died; her three children, ages 8 months to 4 years, were injured. Her husband, Cody, mourned her as a “gentle, patient and kind” woman with “a true servant’s heart,” per his Facebook tribute.
Cody Maggs thanked everyone for their support, calling Olivia a “loving” wife, “beautiful mother,” and dedicated nurse. He said her impact on others was a true testament to who she was. As the family grieves, over $141,000 has been raised via GoFundMe to support them after the tragic crash.
