After years of anticipation and heartfelt moments, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani have welcomed their first child together—a baby girl named Harmony Iris Shelton. The couple shared the joyful news via Instagram, posting a touching family photo taken at Shelton’s Oklahoma ranch. With open fields and golden skies behind them, the couple beamed as they held their newborn daughter close.
The name Harmony Iris instantly sparked conversation. “Harmony” reflects their shared musical journey, while “Iris” draws inspiration from their recent duet, Purple Irises, a song fans embraced as a tribute to their deep connection.
Though some expected a more traditional or country-themed name, many praised the poetic choice, seeing it as a blend of Stefani’s vibrant pop roots and Shelton’s grounded country soul.
Their road to parenthood wasn’t easy. After years of trying and raising Stefani’s sons—Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo—Shelton and Stefani turned to surrogacy in 2024. Choosing surrogacy was deeply personal and kept largely private.
The couple also recently adopted a rescue kitten, Corn, adding warmth to their blended family.
Congratulations to Blake, Gwen, and baby Harmony on this beautiful new chapter.
