Residents of an apartment building in Saint-Étienne, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, heard noises that sounded like a baby weeping on the evening of Saturday,
March 23 to Sunday, March 24 at approximately 4:30 a.m.
stains from blood. They were horrified to discover blood trails when they emerged from their apartments after hearing the cries.
They traced the blood’s path to the building’s trash room, which was the corridor that led to the basements.
