The parents of a 10-year-old kid from Indiana who committed himself have disclosed the terrible bullying their son reportedly experienced before to his untimely demise.
According to WRTV, Sammy Teusch was discovered dead on May 5, 2024, only hours after bullies allegedly promised to “get him” when classes returned following the weekend.
Around 11:30 AM, the 13-year-old brother of the small kid, Xander Teusch, found him hanging from his bunk bed.
Sammy’s parents, Nicole and Sam Teusch, are now pursuing legal action. They have accused Greenfield-Central Community School Corporation
and its Board of Trustees of ignoring several reports on the bullying that Sammy endured, and they have filed a wrongful death case against them.
Several staff members were “repeatedly informed about the bullying of Sammy Teusch (‘Sammy’) by students under the District’s supervision,
and yet did nothing to address it,” according to the lawsuit, which also alleges that school administrators displayed “callous indifference.”
“As a direct and proximate result of the District’s and these individuals’ gross dereliction of arguably their most important duty, Sammy took his own life on May 5, 2024,” the lawsuit alleges.
As early as the third grade, the claimed abuse started. Sammy’s parents claim that his classmates made fun of him by calling him “Dahmer,” a reference to the notorious serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer, because of the way he looked.

According to the lawsuit, one teacher’s only response upon learning about it was, “In her opinion, Sammy did somewhat resemble Jeffrey Dahmer.”
Sammy quickly changed how he behaved in class. His parents think that when he started behaving out, it was “a cry for help.” Rather, he was punished for being disruptive, according to the lawsuit.
At one point, a principal did step in and let Sammy eat lunch in their office.
