Travis Decker, the man accused of killing his three young daughters, reportedly searched online for ways to move to Canada just days before the girls were reported missing. According to an affidavit from the U.S. Marshals Service, Decker looked up “how to relocate to Canada” and “how does a person move to Canada” on May 26, along with Canadian job sites. Authorities believe he may have been planning to flee the country.
His daughters—Paityn, 9, Evelyn, 8, and Olivia, 5—were last seen on May 30 during a scheduled visitation. By June 2, police found all three girls dead near Rock Island Campground in Leavenworth, Washington. Their father’s truck, discovered at the scene, contained blankets, food, and car seats. Two bloody handprints were also found, and early reports indicate the girls likely died from asphyxiation.
Decker remains at large and is considered dangerous due to his military background. Authorities suspect he may be using the Pacific Crest Trail, which leads directly to Canada. He has been charged with three counts of first-degree murder and one count of kidnapping. The search continues nationwide
