The doctor who treated her at Mexico City General Hospital, Dr. Erick Hanson Viana, explained that the only thing removed from the young woman was a large tumor. It weighed 33 kilos. However, this caused great confusion for the woman, who thought she would be leaving the hospital that day carrying her babies.

This tumor completely occupied the woman’s abdomen. It measured one meter across and had a circumference of 157 centimeters. According to recorded data, it is the largest ever removed from a person in the world.
