Little Johnny Walks

One afternoon, while Johnny’s mom was relaxing in a warm bath, little Johnny suddenly walked into the bathroom. His eyes filled with curiosity as he noticed something unusual on her body. “Mom,” he asked innocently, “what’s that fuzzy patch below your belly button?” Caught off guard but staying calm, she gently replied, “That’s calleda bush, sweetheart.”

The next day, Johnny once again walked in unannounced—this time while his father was taking a shower. Something else caught his attention, and he just had to ask.

“Dad,” he said curiously, “what’s that big long thing hanging between your legs?” His father chuckled and answered simply, “That’s called a snake, son.”

A few days later, Johnny walked into the bathroom again and saw his mom in the tub. His curiosity hadn’t faded, and this time, he noticed something else.

“Mom,” he asked, “what are those two saggy things hanging above your belly button?” With a warm smile, she replied, “Those are my headlights, sweetie.”

A couple of weeks went by, and one night Johnny accidentally walked into his parents’ bedroom. What he saw left him confused—they were in an intimate moment.

Without understanding what was going on, he yelled out in alarm, “Mom, turn on your headlights! The snake is crawling into the bush!” His parents froze, unsure whether to laugh or panic.

It became one of those memories that children don’t fully grasp at the time but grow into over the years—something both awkward and funny in hindsight. His parents decided to wait until he was older to explain things properly.

Johnny, always sharp and observant for his age, slowly began to realize that not everything he saw needed an immediate answer—and that some questions are better left for the right time.
