Kim Kardashian is making headlines again—this time for achieving a personal milestone years in the making. On Instagram, the SKIMS founder announced she completed California’s Law Office Study Program (LOSP), a rigorous alternative to law school.
“Six years ago, I started this journey with 75 college credits and a dream,” Kim wrote. “No shortcuts—just commitment.” Instead of law school, Kim studied under practicing attorneys, completing over 5,000 hours of legal study. Her mentors, including Van Jones and Jessica Jackson, praised her dedication.
Her sister Khloé celebrated on social media, clarifying: “LOSP is often more demanding than traditional law school.”
Despite the achievement, critics online challenged Kim’s use of the phrase “graduated from law school.” Others defended her, pointing out that LOSP is legally recognized in four states and requires passing the same exams—including the “baby bar,” which Kim passed in 2021.
Beyond the headlines, Kim’s journey raises broader questions about education, access, and nontraditional paths to success. While debate continues over semantics, what’s undeniable is her grit. Against public skepticism, Kim Kardashian stayed the course—and emerged with credibility earned the hard way.
