Whether it’s the same old hairstyle they’ve had for years or clothes they’ve grown tired of, making a small change can be very refreshing. A woman named Rosa Ramirez from the United States experienced this feeling after not having had a haircut for 25 years.
During all those years, her hair grew incredibly long—so long, in fact, that she sometimes accidentally stepped on it. decided that it was time for a change. Rosa went to a hairdresser accompanied by some of her friends and had her hair cut all the way up to her shoulders. But her decision to cut her hair was not only about getting a new look. She had a meaningful purpose behind it.
Rosa donated approximately 4 feet of her hair to a non-profit organization called Locks of Love. This organization creates wigs for children who have lost their hair due to cancer and other medical conditions.
