OnlyFans Star

At 21 years old, Skylar Mae made a big life decision to leave her dental nurse training behind and fully commit to creating explicit content online.

What really keeps her going, though, is being able to give back to her parents.

In an interview with news.com.au, Mae explained that earning six figures each month feels “amazing”.

And it’s not just about treating herself to luxury items like an expensive car.

She shared that both her mom and dad struggle with health problems.

Thanks to her income, she can always cover any medical costs that come up without hesitation.

“My dad would work so hard for my family, even with all of his health issues, that it’s nice seeing him take a few days off of work here and there,” she explained, reflecting on how good it feels to see her dad finally getting to relax a little.

“Truly what gets me out of bed everyday is knowing I’m taking care for them.”

Mae’s support for her parents goes well beyond just paying for the occasional doctor’s visit.

She actually gives them a generous monthly allowance of $18,000 to help out.

She believes it’s the very least she can do after everything they’ve done for her over the years.

“My Dad is so proud that he even has my stage name tattooed on his arm. I just redid their bathroom for them and I love taking them on holidays,” she said, proudly.

Mae mentioned that her parents have stood by her from the start, even though her career choice still carries a lot of judgment from others.

Her mom has even gone as far as giving her rides to and from filming locations.

She’ll wait nearby while Mae works, just to make sure she’s safe and everything’s going okay.

Whenever Mae books a hotel for a shoot, her parents are always checking in on her to ensure she’s doing well and things are running smoothly.

She said that when her dad first learned about her OnlyFans career, he was supportive right away. Even her grandma didn’t have a problem with it.

“He and my mom even agreed to invest in my account by buying my lingerie,” she added with a laugh.

“Once my grandma heard about what I was doing, she wanted to be part of the success too and ordered me this cute rhinestone lingerie set from Amazon.”

Mae said her parents have always been supportive of her career choice, even though there’s still a stigma attached to it.Skylar Mae/Instagram
Even though Mae is only 21, she says her parents are surprisingly familiar with all the OnlyFans lingo.

Still, that doesn’t mean she’s eager to go into every little detail with them.

“They’ll call me and they’ll be like, oh, like, ‘what kind of content did you do today? How many customs did you do today? They know it all, the language, everything.”

While Mae truly appreciates how open-minded her parents have been about her career, she admits that there’s “definitely a line”.

So, she chooses not to tell them absolutely everything.

“I guess maybe I’m a little bit more reserved than them,” she added.
