Who Are Christopher’s Parents?
Born on September 27, 1997, in Los Angeles, Christopher generally prefers staying out of the limelight—a contrast to his parents’ high-profile careers, although he has been spotted out and about.

He has appeared on television only a few times, including in 2020 on the “Today” show and in 2025 on “Entertainment Tonight.” His father, born July 30, 1947, in Thal, Styria, Austria, is widely known for his role in the “Terminator” movies and once served as the Govenor of California.

Arnold’s journey from a penniless immigrant to a Hollywood success story began early, as he developed a strong interest in physical fitness and bodybuilding. He eventually competed in several minor contests across Europe.

Maria is also a prominent figure in Hollywood as she works as an actress.

Although the former couple divorced following Arnold’s admission that he had fathered a child with the family’s live-in maid, they continue to co-parent effectively. They were both immensely proud and supportive when their youngest child attended and eventually graduated from university.

Carrying Extra Weight in College
In October 2019, Christopher’s parents demonstrated their support when Maria attended a parents’ weekend at the University of Michigan. She posted a heartwarming photo of herself with her son, who was still carrying extra weight at the time.

Christopher had his hair slicked back, a visible beard, and wore his varsity jacket. Maria, who had her hair loose and wore a black blazer and white shirt, noted that it was the last parents’ weekend for all four children.
She also praised the school, its educational standards, fellow parents, and the football team. By May 2020, Christopher remained chubby as he graduated from university. Arnold shared a photo of himself smiling in his graduation attire with the university logo in the background.
He held a golden trophy shaped like a thumbs-up hand with the words “I Did It!” and his graduation script in the other hand. Arnold captioned the post, “Christopher, you are a champion and I love you.”

The actor acknowledged that the graduation wasn’t the “big celebration” his son had envisioned. However, what made him “so proud” wasn’t watching Christopher walk across the stage, but rather his son’s compassion, hard work, vision, critical thinking, and selflessness.

He concluded, “I can’t wait to watch you keep climbing and succeeding.” After graduating from college, Christopher began focusing more on getting fit and living a healthier lifestyle.
