Barbra Streisand & James Brolin Are Still Teenage Lovers At Heart

Most people don’t give celebrity couples much of a chance. In many cases, they will start counting the days until the breakup and they don’t have to wait very long at times.

Then again, you have couples such as James Brolin and Barbra Streisand. Not only are they phenomenal actors who have entertained us for years, but they have also been married for 26 years.

When many people look at this Hollywood couple, they see something different than what is typically seen. Rather than growing apart and paying attention to their careers only, they give each other a lot of attention and have a real connection with each other.

They live a life that allows them to experience a lot of things together but that doesn’t mean that everything has always been perfect. They have had good times and bad times, but they continue to work on their connection.

It all started with a blind date and they hit it off immediately. Streisand was thinking about someone else when she envisioned her future partner. She wanted someone with brown, wavy hair and a brown beard. Rogan was clean-shaven and had short hair.

She even expressed to Brolin on her date that she didn’t care much for his hair but he decided to stick around. It was love at first sight and the two of them were a couple when they tied the knot in 1998.

Barbra Streisand was married from 1961 until 1973 with Elliott Gould. Brolin was married two times before he got together with Streisand.

When he speaks about his wife, he mentions how much he can’t wait to do things with her. He says: “Every night is a new adventure. Sleeping is a waste of time. I can’t wait to see her again in the morning.”

He also said that when he was filming in the Philippines, they spent up to five hours on the phone at five dollars a minute. He said that he probably spent his entire salary speaking to her on that trip.

When asked what they spoke about for so long, he simply said, ‘Teenage crap.’ I guess we’ll leave that one to the imagination.

When they first got together, some people were critical and thought they wouldn’t last. This included his ex-partner but they are still a couple over two decades later.

They are a good example of how Hollywood romances can last and stand the test of time. We wish them many more years of happiness together.
