Ethan “ModBoy” Bramble, known for his extreme body modifications and more than 200 tattoos, is undergoing laser surgery to remove facial ink. Bramble, who began modifying his body at 11 by stretching his ears, has since had his tongue split and his belly button removed.
Now a father, he admits some regret—not over the art itself, but over how it affects public perception and daily life, especially when taking his daughter to school. He says he wouldn’t want her to get face tattoos at a young age due to potential problems. For the past year, Bramble has endured painful laser treatments to gradually fade his facial tattoos, aiming for a “clearer canvas.”
However, Bramble also faces legal issues. Victoria Police issued a warrant for his arrest after he missed a court appearance, though he claims to be in New South Wales and unlikely to be extradited. Known for his playful defiance online, he livestreamed jokes about evading police. Despite the controversy, Bramble remains a prominent figure in body modification circles, having undergone over 40 procedures since his teens.
