Iconic musician Carrie Underwood served looks at the Songwriters Hall of Fame Induction and Awards Gala on June 13. Wearing a unique and eye-catching metallic dress, Underwood left jaws dropping to the floor as she posed on the red carpet alongside fellow friends and artists in the music industry. However, not everybody was impressed by what she wore.

Dazzling in an all-silver look, Underwood adorned a bespoke sleeveless metallic bodice attached to a striking skirt. Rouched and bunched up in the front, the lower half of her dress left her toned legs exposed while the back of the dress draped to the floor

Regardless of what some may think of Underwood’s look, specifically as it pertains to her metallic dress, the garment appears to be popular as the same design has been worn before, by a model.

The official Instagram account of the designer brand, Rafik Zaki, who made Underwood’s dress, shared images of model and influencer Kenzy Mamdouh wearing the widely debated gown.

According to the brand’s caption accompanying their carousel post, eccentric designs are their specialty. “wearable art is our philosophy #rafikzakidesigns,” penned the account.
