SANTA ROSA COUNTY, Fla. (WEAR) — Two teenage boys from Florida were charged with premeditated murder on Thursday after allegedly luring a 14-year-old girl into a wooded area, burning her body, and shooting her multiple times, according to authorities.
The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office said 16-year-old Gabriel Williams and 14-year-old Kimahri Blevins were arrested after they allegedly shot Danika Jade Troy multiple times before dousing her in gasoline and setting her on fire on Sunday.

The report states that Danika Jade Troy was reported missing by her mother, Ashley Troy, after she and her electric scooter were discovered missing from their home.
On Tuesday, a burned body was found approximately 50 yards into a wooded area near 3970 Kimberly Road, along with a black and red electric scooter and 9 mm ammunition casings. The body was later identified as Danika’s, based on the clothing and scooter description, according to the report.
The report states that a cooperating witness revealed that Williams and another individual, Blevins, had planned Danika’s murder.

Williams reportedly confessed to detectives that Danika had made hurtful comments about him, which upset him.
Blevins, when questioned, requested a lawyer and was subsequently arrested, according to the report.
Both Blevins and Williams are currently held in the Department of Juvenile Justice.
