
World leaders around the globe reacted strongly after Donald Trump announced that the U.S. had bombed three Iranian nuclear sites — including Fordow Nuclear Facility.
Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s foreign minister, condemned the strikes as a “grave violation” of international law and the UN Charter, warning that Tehran “reserves all options” to defend its sovereignty.
Meanwhile, Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel praised the strike as historic, arguing that strength must precede peace.
At the same time, United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres described the bombing as a “dangerous escalation,” warning it threatens global peace and urging all sides to pursue diplomacy rather than military conflict.
Several other countries, including China, called for immediate de-escalation, condemning the strikes and stressing diplomacy must replace warfare
