A mum-to-be was brutally dragged into a pond and nearly drowned by her baby’s father after she had posted photos of them together at their baby shower.
The pregnant teen, who has not been named, shared snaps of her and her baby dad Dominic Thomas on Facebook, but instead of being happy about the images, he turned terrifyingly violent.
The 19-year-old dad had been secretly dating another woman, and was worried she would see the photos of Dominic and his pregnant girlfriend online. His fears turned out to be true, as his secret lover did see the images. Thomas, from Kansas, US, then sent threatening messages to the mother of his child, warning: “I sick of living knowing ur in my life so imma do sum bout it
Chillingly, he told her “It ain’t a threat it’s a promise,” adding: “And not gone give a single f***k about the consequence.” This week, he was sentenced to 15 years in prison for attempted murder.
His pregnant girlfriend, who was just 17 at the time, replied: “Well that’s something very nice to say to me when I’m carrying your child so if something happens to me he will die with me.” Thomas hit back with “no he won’t” and the young woman replied: “If my heart stops so does his.”
