A former substitute teacher and her boyfriend have been charged in connection with inappropriate sexual contact involving a child, authorities have said.
Madison Paige Jones, 30, was arrested on December 19 last year after police began investigating a report two days earlier of a possible sexual offence involving a child, including her own 5-year-old daughter.

She faces one count of aggravated assault of a child, two counts of indecency with a child involving sexual contact, and one count of possession of child pornography, authorities have confirmed. Jones was booked into the Ellis County Jail and held on a $90,000 bond.
Police said that Jones had previously worked as a substitute teacher for the Midlothian Independent School District (ISD) in Texas, but said the alleged offenses did not occur on district campuses and did not involve district students.
