Actor and former AT&T spokeswoman Milana Vayntrub has raised more than $500,000 for California wildfire victims through a creative charity project she calls Only Philanthropy. The fundraiser paired lighthearted, “tastefully risqué” photos with serious relief efforts, keeping clear boundaries and avoiding nudity.
Vayntrub, 38, said the idea came after seeing how devastating recent Los Angeles–area wildfires were for families who needed immediate financial help. What began as a playful experiment quickly gained traction as fans responded to the mix of humor, transparency, and urgency. Within days, donations surged far beyond expectations.
The first campaign focused on helping Bridget Bradley, a single mother who lost her East Altadena home in the Eaton wildfire. That effort raised $170,000 in four days, allowing Bradley’s family to secure housing, cover medical expenses, and replace their car. Encouraged by the response, Vayntrub launched a second drive that brought in another $350,000 in just one week.
According to the project’s mission, Only Philanthropy aims to trade exclusive content for real-world impact. Its success highlights how creative, human-centered fundraising can quickly mobilize online communities for urgent causes.
