Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi has opened up about a recent cervical cancer scare. The 38-year-old, famous from MTV’s Jersey Shore, shared on TikTok that abnormal Pap smear results over the past four years led her to undergo a colposcopy and biopsy. “Results come back. Doctor calls me and he’s like, ‘Not looking great.’ He found cancerous cells on the top of my cervix,” she said.
Polizzi revealed she will need a cone biopsy under anesthesia for further testing. While she described the process as “terrifying,” she emphasized its importance: “It’s scary, but we have to get it done because cervical cancer is nothing to joke about.” She also noted that if the second biopsy is abnormal, a hysterectomy may be required—a thought she found “sad and scary,” even though she’s done having children.
The reality star urged women not to delay screenings, admitting she had waited out of fear and discomfort. “If your doctor calls you to do it again, do it,” she said. Snooki hopes sharing her experience encourages others to prioritize their health, reminding viewers: “Being a woman is not easy… it’s just scary.”
