U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi has confirmed that the Department of Justice completed the public release of documents tied to convicted financier Jeffrey Epstein under the Epstein Files Transparency Act. In a February 14 letter, Bondi stated that all materials required under Section 3 have now been disclosed following months of review.
According to the DOJ, the final release references more than 300 high-profile individuals. Bondi emphasized that being named does not imply wrongdoing, noting that references appear in varied contexts. She also stated no records were withheld due to embarrassment or political sensitivity.
Public figures mentioned include Donald Trump, Bill Gates, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and Princess Diana. Lawmakers such as Thomas Massie and Ro Khanna argue further transparency may still be required under the law.
