WASHINGTON — The Justice Department has released thousands of additional pages from its investigation into late financier Jeffrey Epstein, including references to former President Donald Trump, 1990s flight logs, and subpoenas tied to Mar-a-Lago. The disclosure follows the bipartisan Epstein Files Transparency Act and adds to prior document releases.
Records show Trump flew on Epstein’s private jet multiple times in the 1990s and socialized within overlapping New York and Palm Beach circles. However, the Justice Department stated the files contain no evidence of criminal wrongdoing by Trump or other public figures mentioned. Trump has previously said he distanced himself from Epstein years before Epstein’s 2008 conviction.
The documents also reference subpoenas related to the prosecution of Ghislaine Maxwell. While political leaders, including Chuck Schumer, have called for full transparency, officials say many materials consist of previously known flight logs and investigative records. No verified “client list” has emerged from the release.
