In Livermore, Colorado, Banditas Wild Horse Promise, a rescue organization known for saving wild Mustangs, witnessed an extraordinary event. One of their mares, Resurrection, had shown signs of pregnancy, which excited the team. However, they were unaware of the rarity that was about to unfold.
Resurrection surprised everyone by giving birth to twin colts, a phenomenon that occurs in only one in 10,000 horse births. The team had expected to find a single foal when they arrived to check on her, but instead, they were stunned to see both twins, alive and healthy.
The birth of twin colts is extremely rare and typically comes with many complications, often resulting in the death of one or both foals. However, both of Resurrection’s foals, named Red and Blue, survived, making this event a miraculous moment for the rescue team.
With the birth being critical for the foals’ survival, the team worked tirelessly to ensure their well-being, knowing Resurrection needed help as a first-time mother.
