Shocking moment cruise descends into chaos as it ‘tilts 45 degrees’ in Atlantic Ocean

A Royal Caribbean cruise ship, Explorer of the Seas, was hit by a freak gust of wind while traveling from Europe to Florida, causing the ship to tilt 45 degrees. The incident occurred off the coast of Tenerife, near the Canary Islands, as wind speeds surged from 46 mph to 86 mph. Passengers were thrown off balance, with items like drinks, clothing, and advertising boards being sent flying. One person was injured during the chaos and was taken off the ship in Las Palmas for medical treatment. Despite the frightening moments, passengers were reassured when the captain explained the situation. The ship’s arrival in Miami was delayed by two weeks due to the diversion.
