Judge Judy Sheindlin, famed for her no-nonsense approach on daytime television, has enjoyed a remarkable career spanning nearly 25 years. Despite her public persona, Judy’s personal life, especially her marriage to her second husband Jerry Sheindlin, is just as intriguing.
Judy and Jerry first met in 1976, and although they had a dramatic beginning—clashing at a bar—they instantly connected. The couple married in 1977, later divorced in 1990, only to reunite and remarry, proving their bond was unbreakable. Jerry, also a lawyer, later became a judge on The People’s Court. Together, they have five children, with three following their parents’ footsteps into law.
Now, 45 years into their marriage, Judy and Jerry live in Florida, enjoying a life surrounded by family, including 13 grandchildren. At 78, Judy shows no signs of slowing down, with new projects like Judy Justice continuing her legacy.
We wish the Sheindlins continued happiness in their journey together.
